My journey into photography began with a dream to travel to Mt Everest. I packed my old film SLR for the adventure and soon realised I’d discovered a true passion behind the lens; one that kept me exploring the world for four years.
What started as a travel companion quickly became a lifelong pursuit.
On returning to Australia, I formalised my skills by completing a Diploma of Photography with the Photography Institute and a Certificate IV in Photography at Melbourne Polytechnic.
Photography gives me the freedom to explore, create, and collaborate. Every shoot is an opportunity to be spontaneous, to tell a story, and to bring ideas to life alongside others who share the same creative spirit.
Beyond landscapes, I find immense joy in capturing people’s special moments; from weddings to birthdays and everything in between. It’s always an honour to be trusted with those memories.
Working on commercial projects offers a completely different kind of thrill. I love the challenge of aligning creativity with purpose - where collaboration, vision, and precision come together to deliver something truly professional and inspiring.
You can explore more about my event and commercial work on the Projects page.
My work has been exhibited at several photography events, published in magazines, and regularly featured in commercial and stock image libraries.
If you’re looking for photography that captures landscapes and travel, portraits or weddings, or commercial and small business projects, I’d love to hear from you. You can reach me anytime via the Contact page.
You can also read more about my story in the June 2023 edition of Peninsula Essence magazine.
